What are Reiki plates for on a massage table?
If you decide to buy a portable massage table, you should take a look underneath the table.
Make sure that the massage table is equipped with so-called Reiki plates. These are reinforcements that are mounted at the head and foot end on the legs of the massage table. These have two essential advantages over tables without Reiki plates:
1. Reiki plates provide the table with more stability during a treatment.
2. Compared to standard braces or full coverings, Reiki plates are provided with cut-outs for the knees, so that the therapist can sit close to the portable treatment table without being hindered by the legs. This design is particularly advantageous for foot massages or head and face treatments.

How do I care for a massage table?
