PU Leather For Maximum Protection
PU leather, also known as bycast leather or pull up leather is an ideal massage table cover. PU leather is real leather with a polyurethane coating. This coating makes sure that no moisture can enter. The dirt stays on the surface and can be wiped off quickly with a wet cloth. But for better hygiene you should use disinfectant wipes instead. They kill off all bacteria, fungus and viruses without hurstraining the leather. CosiMed offers ready-to-use disinfectant wipes in a practical dispenser box so you can free your massage table from all dirt on a regular basis. Additionally to cleaning it daily, a protective cover made of PU leather should be treated with a PU protector every 3 to six months to ensure its longevity.
Why PU instead of PVC?
Both PU leather and PVC leather are popular alternatives to real leather but protective covers made of PU leather have clear advantages. Compared to its competitor, PU leather doesn’t contain any toxic softeners which could endanger your patient’s health. Because of that it is odorless and more comfortable for the client.
PU leather is far more breathable and adjusts to the body temperature, whereas PVC hardens when exposed to high temperatures. PU leather can also be cleaned more easily which saves time and ensures a higher longevity.Colourful Terry
Terry is a textile with great absorbency and protects your massage table from sweat, oil and make up. OThe surface of the fabric is densely covered with loops which support warmth and make the cover especially soft. Our terry fitted sheets consist of 75% cotton and 25% polyester and are available in many different colours. This way you can match the right protective cover with your massage table and practice.

Fleece is a cosy fabric with a roughened surface. It warms the client, is supple and easy to clean because it dries quickly and can be simply thrown into the washing machine. Furthermore, fleece is very breathable and quickly transports fluidity away from the body.

Our Hot Tip For Cold Days
Protective covers ensure a great comfort but when it gets cold we recommend to also use a heated blanket. An electric heated blanket is being positioned beneath the protective cover and allows you to set the right heat level via a controller. This soothing addition lets your customers relax on your massage table even on the coldest winter days. Before purchasing a table warmer, please make sure it has an overheat protection so you won’t have to jeopardize the safety of you and your clients.
